The pioneers of the rolling knife sharpener

The founders of HORL ® believed in their concept for a simple knife sharpening system and developed the first rolling knife sharpener in 2016. Ever since, the father-and-son duo have been inspiring people all over the world with their invention.

The HORL ® 1993 headquarters are located in our home town of Freiburg im Breisgau. We carry out the wood and metal production, which includes laser engraving and final assembly, together with our partner companies located nearby in the Black Forest. Their closeness and our direct communications ensure the best quality for all components and create an environment for the sharing of ideas. This empowers us to manufacture technically high-quality products that truly inspire.
